Intro to Scent Work class is starting on Saturday, September 21, 2019! ***The Saturday class is now FULL!***

NEW CLASS: a second set of classes that will be starting on Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30pm!

Intro to Scent Work class runs for 5 weeks and includes 6.5 hours of class time.

Class fee is $180 plus gst.

About the class:

This beginner class will introduce you and your dog to the exciting and popular sport of canine scent work! We start by getting your dog excited to play a fun “sniffing” game while you will be observing and learning how to “read” your dog and how scent travels through the room.

Intro to Scent Work will set you up with a great scenting activity that you can play all year round just about anywhere, including your own living room! It will also prepare you to enter into our continuing and advanced classes. Many of our students train to advanced levels and compete in scent trials where they can put their skills to the test and earn ribbons and titles, while some people continue with classes just because they are having so much fun with their dog!

Intro to Scent Work is open to dogs of all ages, breeds and abilities! No previous experience or obedience is necessary. Dogs do not come into contact with other dogs during class, however, your dog should be comfortable around people and able to wait in your vehicle (or a crate) alone without you.
